Structural Steel Sections
Compare angle steel, flat bar, channel, H-section, round bar and cold-formed C-section products for construction and fabrication material lists. CanHope can coordinate section supply and drawing-based processing against your project requirements.
Choose the Section Shown on the Drawing
Section names are not interchangeable. A hot-rolled channel differs from a cold-formed C purlin, and H-section designations depend on the specified section series. Start with the designer’s designation and standard, then confirm the actual dimensions, grade and length.

Angle Steel / Angle Bar
Equal or unequal leg angles for frames, brackets and connections.

FLAT BAR
Rectangular bars for fabrication, plates, straps and supports.

STEEL CHANNEL
Channel sections for framing and fabricated assemblies.

H-SECTIONS STEEL
Beam and column sections selected to the project drawing.

ROUND BAR
Circular solid bars for fabrication and machining requirements.

C-SHAPED STEEL
Cold-formed profiles, including purlin and support requirements.
Prepare a Comparable Steel-Section Enquiry
- Full section designation or a dimensioned drawing, including the applicable section standard.
- Steel grade, required material test documents and any project acceptance requirements.
- Length and quantity by section, with coating or galvanizing requirements.
- Cutting, drilling, bending or fabrication details where required.
- Destination and packing constraints, including any long-length transport needs.
Product Information and Structural Design
The individual product pages provide range information and source specification references. Final member sizing, connection design and load suitability remain part of the project design. A product catalogue or theoretical weight table is not a structural design approval.
Send Your Section Schedule
Share the BOQ or cutting list with drawings and material requirements. Keeping one line per section, length and finish helps check quantities and processing scope before quotation.
